The Culinary Arts Program within McIntosh College’s Atlantic Culinary Academy is designed to prepare students for professional careers with the culinary arts training, skills, knowledge, and attributes necessary for a variety of entry-level, culinary and baking positions within food service industry.
The Culinary Arts Program is aimed at students who desire to develop sound culinary and supervisory practices. The curriculum for the Culinary Arts program is especially attractive to students desiring an intensive, short-term program, as it is designed to be only 18 months long, three of which is an externship in the industry
The chef instructors at McIntosh Atlantic Culinary Academy have a variety of skills and experiences that they draw upon in the learning environment. They have credentials and certifications that attests to their expertise and how the can help students with a career in the Foodservice industry.

Location: McIntosh Atlantic Culinary Academy is centrally located in scenic Dover, New Hampshire, in the heart of the Seacoast Region, not far from the Maine and Massachusetts borders. Road trips home to visit old friends and enjoy home cooking (and free laundry) are a breeze. And if you thought you knew all New England has to offer, just wait ‘til you get here! From snowboarding, beach trips and nature walks to city hops, mountain biking and seaside dining – it’s all just a stone’s throw away from our college in New England.
The McIntosh College experience extends beyond our campus. If you like the great outdoors, the quaint city of Dover is located between the Bellamy and Cochecho rivers, just minutes from unspoiled woodlands, Audubon trails, scenic river walks, boat tours, lakes and the Atlantic Ocean. Downtown Dover has eclectic shops, restaurants, and a thriving arts community. And that’s just the start.
The student-run Campus Activities Board at our college in New England makes sure there’s something going on virtually every week, whether it’s a group night out to Chunky’s Cinema Pub, a whirl around Six Flags New England, or a hike up Mount Major. Dover has it all!
