The Pasadena Campus, the center of the school, is located in the historic Playhouse District and is only 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. There are 30 teaching/lecture kitchen labs and nine classrooms in the main building. All labs are designed for maximum efficiency, usability, and comfort while completely stocked with industry-current commercial equipment. This allows students to experience a proving ground for the fast-paced environment they will meet after graduation and in their jobs. The Learning Resource Center is also housed in this building; this is a vital area which provides current information available to industry professionals to both students and culinary professional in Southern California.

A feature of this campus is the popular restaurant, Bistro 561, where students can show off their new skills while experiencing practical, real-world experience.
Students from around the world attend the California School of Culinary Arts. Even with the varied education, ages, backgrounds and ethnicities, all students share one interest – a passion for the culinary and hospitality fields. Admission process begins by applying on-line to start the application process or by visiting the school in person. Each candidate for acceptance to the CSCA is required to furnish: proof of high school graduation or GED certificate or its equivalent; completed application form; submission of a $100 registration fee. Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Associate of Occupational Studies Degree Program is a 15-month program that includes an externship. Beginning coursework includes classical French techniques and terminology and then progresses to innovative and modern applications. All culinary students work along side industry-trained Chef Instructors whose focus is excellence in culinary arts education. The lab courses are kept small, enabling each student to compete all facets of the lesson plans. Chef Instructors monitor each student’s progress, testing them on individual performance and work habits. Available to all students also is job placement assistance service and networking capabilities.

The Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie & Baking Diploma Program is a 30-week program of study that embraces a wide range of baking and pastry techniques, including old-world classics and the newest innovations as well. The program also develops artistic skills which are considered very high in demand. The CSCA Professional Development Program is offered, along with networking and job placement assistance service.
The Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality & Restaurant Management Diploma Program is a 51-week course of training which readies students for a far-reaching and varied career in the hospitality industry. Hundreds of CSCA graduates are currently employed for world famous hotels, restaurants, spas, and cruise lines. CSCA also provides externships, networking, and job placement assistant services.
