General Admissions Requirements
For prospective students interested in the requirements for admission, the following applies: personal interview with an admissions advisor; completed application; proof of age requirement; graduation from accredited school or other proof of educational standards; competencies in basic and pre-requisite levels for chosen course of studies.

Additionally, students attending college in IL or NY locations must provide proof of immunization for certain diseases, as required by laws in these respective states. The Student Services Office should be contacted for further information.

Age Requirement
Each applicant must be at least 17 years old on the first day of classes.
Documentation of age may be required.

Prior Education Requirement
By the end of registration, official certification of applicant’s educational records must be on file. The requirement holds each applicant as a high school graduate, a General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or a degree from a post-secondary institution approved by DeVry.

Transfer students
Transcripts of applicants with prior post-secondary attendance must be presented, indicating all previous work. For students requesting transfer credit from prior post-secondary schools, official transcripts must be submitted before credit will be awarded. Unofficial evaluations of transfer credits may be provided before receipt of official transcripts.
